Building a Better Merrimack
The Merrimack Town Democratic Committee is a group of individuals committed to electing Democrats in NH to local, state, and (collaboratively) federal office.
We are working together to build strong schools, safe and welcoming neighborhoods, and a thriving community.
We believe
That investment in public education and infrastructure should be a priority because it benefits all members of our democracy and promotes a strong economy.
That climate change presents a real and imminent threat, and it is our responsibility to proactively address and counter its effects. We support climate action plans based on sound science, with clearly specified timelines and goals so that future generations inherit a healthy environment.
It is our responsibility to provide clean air, water, and food for ourselves and future generations.
That we have a responsibility to protect the rights that so many before us fought to secure: equal rights, voting rights, the rights of the disabled, and workers rights.
That our neighbors deserve affordable healthcare, access to mental health care, and addiction services.
Our neighbors deserve to feel safe in their communities regardless of their color, religious beliefs, country of origin, sexual orientation, or how they identify.
That we need living wages that allow families to thrive, affordable workforce housing, consumer protections that include clean water and air, and integrity in our elections.
That veterans deserve better health care, including mental health care and suicide prevention support.
That science and journalism hold truth to power.
That our progressive values sustain a middle class and allow for upward mobility for all.

Transfer Station Visibility
We plan to have a campaign presence at the transfer station to help energize voters and let people know who the candidates are. Sign up to join us on Saturdays in October with shifts running from 8AM to 4PM. -
MTDC General Meeting

Join us for our monthly general meeting as we plan our next steps for electing Democrats up and down the ballot. All are welcome, whether you're a longtime member or just getting involved for the first time.
This month we will discuss the importance of increasing Name Recognition for our State Representative Candidates. All candidates will be invited to discuss their upcoming events, canvassing locations and opportunities for support.
