We are a local community of Granite Staters in Merrimack New Hampshire organizing around progressive values, from investing in public education and climate action to protecting voting rights, workers' rights, and equal rights for all.

We believe our neighbors deserve affordable healthcare, mental health and addiction services, living wages, affordable housing, and integrity in our elections, and that science and journalism hold truth to power.

Candidate Speaker Series

Merrimack Democrats brings Granite Staters together to meet the candidates fighting for New Hampshire. Through our Candidate Speaker Series at the Merrimack Historical Society, we host Democratic candidates running for offices up and down the ballot, from Congress, State Rep, and Governor to County positions like Commissioner, Attorney, Treasurer, Register of Deeds, and Registrar of Probate. Every event is a chance for our community to hear directly from the people asking for their vote, ask questions, and get involved in the fight for affordable health care, public education, and a New Hampshire that works for working families.

Blue Ribbon Liberal Book Club

Grab a book, grab a seat, and join us! Our book club meets the first Monday of every month at the Merrimack Public Library for a lineup that ranges from sweeping historical fiction to sharp political nonfiction, and everything in between.
